Flour pie with feta cheese

 


Ingredients


260ml water

260 ml milk
375 g self-rising flour, sifted
1 tsp sea salt
2 large eggs
100 ml olive oil
50 g butter
200 g feta cheese

How to: 

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Place the olive oil and butter in a very large baking dish, approximately 30cm x 45cm.
Cook for about 5-10 minutes, until the butter is lightly browned.
Spread the oil-butter mixture evenly in the baking dish.
Beat the eggs for about 30 seconds in a large bowl before adding the water, milk and salt.
Add the flour in batches and mix until there are no lumps (do not overmix).
Pour the mixture into the baking dish, completely covering the base of the pan.
Crumble the feta evenly on top.
Bake for about 30-40 minutes until the surface is golden brown, the edges are crispy and the base is golden brown.
