The ability to allow others into our lives may be an overwhelming phase for some people including me. The space that we need to provide to let people express themselves, pursue their dreams, and live according to their values are the things that seem simple to accept, but when the time is over and they must leave, it’s the time to liberate them with sincerity, that we all know how hard it is.
I believe humans have a crowded canvas of their lives, we encounter a multitude of characters, each with our own unique colors and strokes. Some of the time we can relate easily to each other, while at other times we find difficulties in understanding each other.
With the time that goes by, we finally start to get to profound art — the art of letting others be themselves.
When I start live to learn how to accept, serenity begins to live in me. Someone told me that acceptance is another cornerstone of letting people be. embracing their strengths, uniqueness, and imperfections without trying to mold them into what we imagine them to be is something that warms up our souls.
When I practice this the art of letting people be, the trust between each other grows and becomes a valuable support. We all know how it feels to be accepted and respected for who we are, we intentionally grow connections and meaningful relationships.
“See you in another 4 years?”
He’s always wanted to be a photographer with an unexpected journey. So I let him be. Even in my mind, I never imagined, we have to go towards our own dreams without accompanying each other.
